Attorneys

When you become an attorney at RDM, you’ll work with top tier litigators and trial attorneys who have decades of experience and deep knowledge of the industries we serve. Our attorneys quickly immerse themselves in litigation and rapidly gain experience and develop their skillsets, scientific knowledge, and industry expertise.

Potential attorney candidates should be prepared to take on a wide array of duties including researching cases, interviewing witnesses, taking and defending depositions, preparing motions and pleadings, and investigating and developing defenses. Attorneys will appear in court for dockets and trials. Travel may be required for court appearances and depositions. Applicants should be admitted to the bar in Missouri and/or Illinois or be able to acquire licensure as soon as possible.

Associate Attorney

St. Louis Office

Our office in Downtown St. Louis, Missouri is seeking a litigation associate with 0 to 2 years of experience who is a self-starter and works well in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity for immediate litigation exposure through pleadings, motions, and deposition work.

Job duties include:

  • Researching cases
  • Interviewing witnesses
  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Preparing motions and pleadings
  • Investigating and developing defenses
  • Analyzing pleadings and discovery
  • Appearing in court for dockets, trials, etc.
  • Traveling as required for court appearances and depositions

Admittance to the bar in Missouri or Illinois required for employment but will review applications of recent graduations seeking admittance; must have the ability to obtain licensure as soon as possible. The ideal candidate enjoys the challenge of fast-paced litigation, has organizational skills for large caseloads, and displays exceptional legal writing and communication skills.

Associate Attorney

Kansas City Office

Rasmussen Dickey Moore is seeking a litigation associate with 2 to 4 years of experience for its south Kansas City, Missouri location. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and work well in a fast-paced environment. The successful applicant will have opportunities for immediate deposition and trial practice exposure.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Researching cases by interviewing witnesses
  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Preparing motions and pleadings
  • Reviewing evidence to develop client defenses
  • Analyzing pleadings and discovery
  • Working as part of a trial team and with partner attorney
  • Developing trial strategy
  • Appearing in court for dockets, trials, etc.
  • Traveling as required for court appearances and depositions

Admittance to the bar in Missouri required; also prefer current Illinois license or the ability to obtain as soon as possible. Must also be willing to procure additional licenses as requested.

The ideal candidate should be able to work independently as part of the larger trial team, manage and prioritize multiple projects, and display exceptional legal writing and communication skills.
