Andrew joined Rasmussen Dickey Moore in August 2023 after serving as the Senior Assistant Attorney in the civil litigation group for the Office of the County Counselor for Jackson County, Missouri. There, he defended the County in state and federal courts in actions for wrongful death, 1983 claims, employment and labor issues, and land use and taxation. Andrew clerked for the Honorable James F. Kanatzar of the 16th Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri, as well as working in the Mass Torts litigation group for Langdon and Emison.

Prior to practicing law, Andrew obtained his medical degree from the University of Kansas and served as a co-principal investigator in Department of Defense-funded medical device research. This work advanced the tools available to physicians for the objective diagnosis of cognitive impairment associated with concussive events.

Outside of the law, Andrew continues his involvement with the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he is a member of the School of Science and Engineering’s Alumni Board and is a volunteer instructor in the Division of Chemistry.
